TLDR: We are talking about the energetics of summer, practices and contemplations for this season, how to create your vision, and a recalibration guide to support you to reflect and craft your vision for the upcoming season.
The Energetics of Summer
June 21 in the Northern Hemisphere marks the longest day of the year and the start of summer. As we moved from the stillness of winter to the awakening of spring, we are met at the peak of the year – a time to play, dance, move and savor the ripeness of the seeds we planted throughout the stiller months. This is a time of action and being out in the world and experience what it feels like to be fully alive.
If you are still feeling slow and lethargic from the lingering Spring, I invite you to pick up the pace and rev your own engine. This could look like moving your body, spending time with friends, or starting on a new creative project. This is a time to push ourselves ever so slightly to make most of the vital life force energy within us all. Allow yourself to be messy, fast moving and slightly chaotic. Let your life be shaken up with the energy of Summer. Trust that the things you did during Winter and Spring will prepare you for this increase in momentum and as we move closer to Fall, this will naturally start to slow down.
Some practices and things to think about during the summer months:
How do you express yourself? What are some new (or old) forms of creativity you can invite into yourself? What is holding you back from showing up as your fullest self?
